No one taught
Captain.....
The wavy tea plantations were so lively as always after a
drizzling. In the midst of it, we stood, planning for a walk into the
plantations. “Captain”…. Someone called him from far away. Captain, with a
thick red ribbon around his neck walked towards us...” come here…come here…”
called my brother lovingly. Without a moment delayed, he ran towards him.
Overwhelmed with joy he started jumping, leaning over the body with the
forelegs. His tail moved to and fro so fast. He was happy!
“Don’t jump captain….No…No…” his look at my fathers face
was so innocent. He never bothered to take our words into his head and spoil
his mood. He kept entertaining them and scaring me. By the way, I am really
afraid of dogs……… Sorry, I “was” afraid of dogs. And I should admit that
Captain changed my fear. And want to know how?..... Back to the story…

Its 6.P.M. Lets move…said my dad. We found ourselves sad to
leave our captain. We got into the car. The window pushed Captain out of the
frame as the car moved. I just turned to see him once more. He gazed at us, his
tail stood still and his eyes longed for something. He seemed so little in
between the vast plantations. No one around…
I thought, we sometimes encounter someone, very strange,
who begins to interest us at the very first sight…all at once…That was captain.
Captain…who taught you your character? What are you longing for? I wanted to
ask him.
Days later, I went to one of my friend’s home. There I saw
Bubbles, a very cute dog. The moment I saw her I remembered Captain. I felt
guilty when I reached home that day when we left captain all alone again. I
regretted a lot for not letting Captain touch me or play with me. That is still
a deep sadness for me. I longed for that day, but unfortunately good memories
wipe out their marks on the path we traveled….we can only think about it and
nourish the moments. But in Captain’s case, his memories are still a pain for
me.

Captain inspired me; he was such a
beautiful captain, not for anyone but for himself. Love you Captain!

Yes you never allowed captain to play with you, but im touched by the fact that in such a short time captains character has changed your character, whenever i drive past that bend i too lookout for captain if he is somewhere nearby.
